Dr Paul is the only British Doctor registered on the island of Gran Canaria.

Dr. Paul Beresford-Jones trained as a Doctor at Edinburgh University, Scotland. After completing his GP training, in London, he joined a 4 partner practice in Brighton, England. Dr Paul was with this practice for 13 years, where he was a full time partner. During this period Dr Paul also worked part time as:

Private General Practitioner
Expert Witness
Medico-legal Adviser

Mary Beresford-Jones trained as a RGN at University College Hospital, London. After qualifying Mary's main specialty was General Medicine and elderly care. She continued within these areas when she moved to Brighton with Dr Paul. After the birth of their son Mary took up Practice nursing to be able to spend more time with her family. Latterly, Mary was Practice manager in a GP surgery in Brighton, England.

Due to their previous experience within the NHS in the UK, Dr Paul and Mary have a 'hands on' knowledge of current treatments, systems and attitudes in the UK.
